Highlights for me were Rod’s... ‘Mary Morrison’... Marc and Gregor’s musical contributions and the most wonderful rendition of Burns....‘Tam O'Shanter’ by Kirsten ....faultless!!!!.. and Kirsten also did a cracking ‘Road to Drumlemen’ (not Burns) but beautiful!... all helped by a full house who were all in great voice, just a really good night out!!”

“...a great show which was enjoyed by everyone... it was inspired to kick-off the evening with Gregor’s recital of founder member Lionel McClelland’s wonderful poem ‘Common Craw’. This perfectly set the scene for the musical programme which followed which was so varied and seemed to bring out the musical talents of all three of you. Not only did it include beautiful renditions of some of Burn’s best known songs but had great humour also as exemplified in Rod’s incredible performance of ‘Oor Hamlet’ by Adam McNaughton.... the jazzy ‘Inveraray Summer Nights’ was the perfect showpiece for Gregor’s virtuoso accordion playing..... ‘Auld Lang Syne’ to the original tune in the encore was truly beautiful and a fitting end to a wonderful evening.... I had a few comments from the guests who after browsing the website were expecting some serious Scottish folk music but not the great entertainment, warmth and humour that made the evening so memorable.”
